On November 4, 2022, Twitter’s in-house creative team was impacted in a massive layoff and completely dismantled. There was little to no warning.

The Twitter Studio was one of the most vibrant, creative and caring group of humans. Many of them were contractors, who won’t receive a severance package.

If you are a hiring manager, recruiter or well-connected person, please help find these talented folks a place where their exceptional skills and contributions can be fully appreciated.

I was the Global Head of Creative Strategy and Brand Design, privileged to lead and support this diverse and talented team. But my dedication to these people doesn’t end just because our former company eliminated my role.

Please email me at [email protected] for references or questions. I would love to help as many of these people as I can.

This team, and their families, thank you so much for your support.

Leadership

Twitter Studio Leaders did inspiring work and inspired others to do their best, as well. They were a roll-up-your-sleeves, no-job’s-too-small group of folks who led projects and teams with integrity and grit.

Leadership

Creative Directors

Driving high-level creative decisions and overseeing the development and completion of assets is par for the course. But Twitter Studio’s Creative Directors didn’t just play a part … they did the work, too. From Art Directors and Copywriters, to Creative Strategists and Video Producers, Twitter Studio’s Creative Directors were in the trenches, supporting the teams, and pitching in, as well.

Creative Directors

Designers, Art Directors, and Illustrators

Twitter Studio’s Designers and Art Directors set the foundation for powerful vision and stunning visual execution. Their expertise is showcased everywhere from new product launches on Twitter’s timeline and high-profile trade events like the Consumer Electronics Show and SXSW, to world-class sports events like the Superbowl and jumbo-tron media take-overs in New York City.

Copywriters

If great copywriters make writing look easy, then Twitter’s Studio Copywriters are simply the best. On a daily basis, these Copywriters slipped into the distinct voice of Twitter’s brand and embraced the tone for everything from B2C and B2B, to internal communications, scripts and speech writing. They were on the forefront of concepting and ideation, deep in the details on creative development, and front-and-center pitching on-brief, creative work. In other words, these writers make excellent writing look like a piece of cake.

Program Managers

Leadership, organization, communication and relationships. These are the key tenets of Twitter Studio’s Program Managers. Every day, Program Managers were strategizing how to execute on roadmap initiatives, meeting with partners to understand project needs, and reacting real-time to last-minute pivots and projects. With a can-do attitude and always-on excellent customer service for both Studio and cross-functional partners, these critical teammates kept the team unblocked, organized and inspired.
